Explosion proof finned tube heater

Explosion-proof Finned Tube Heaters

Type D-8500 ERB

Used for heating in areas were gases or vapours are present, such as in the chemical and petrochemical industries and in areas where flammable and/or combustible products are stored.

D-8500 is made of steel with grey epoxy coating.

Finned tube heaters have a pressure-proof construction with a maximum surface temperature of 200ºC. This means that the tube heaters are qualified for use in temperature class T3 and have ATEX certification Ex db IIC T3.

By reducing the power, it is possible to obtain a flame-proof construction with a maximum surface temperature of 135ºC. This means that the tube heaters are qualified for use in temperature class T4 and have ATEX certification Ex db IIC T4.

Finned tube heater

Type D-8505 ERB

Type D-8505 is designed in the same way as D-8500, but it is made of stainless steel AISI 316, which makes this finned tube heater particularly ideal for corrosive areas with explosive gases, vapours and dust, such as platforms, chemical and petrochemical factories and offshore facilities.

Room termostat ERT-10

Room thermostat ERT-10

For directly control of explosion-proof finned tube heaters, we recommend using the ERT-10 room thermostat. It is ideal for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and ensures reliable temperature control, even under extreme conditions.
