Cartridge heating element

Cartridge Heating Elements

A cartridge heating element consists of a ceramic heating element in a tube, equipped with either a cable or a junction box. The heating element is built of grooved blocks (ceramic building blocks) assembled into complete heating elements with the heat conductor placed in the groove.

They are also available with a threaded finish so they can be installed directly in the item to be heated, such as water tanks, oil containers or vessels.

Cartridge heating elements are custom-made to the task where voltage, power, cold zone and power supply cable are adapted to your needs.

The advantage of a cartridge heating element is that the heating element itself can be replaced without having to empty the vessel or container first.
