Ceramic heating elements

Ceramic Heating Element

Round ceramic heating elements

Primarily used for indirect heating of water, liquids and oil products. They are primarily integrated into vessels and containers where the heating element is inserted into a tube (see more under cartridge heating elements), which enables the heating element to be replaced without having to empty the vessel or container. Using an immersion tube provides a larger surface for dispersing the heat, which makes it possible to install high power in the vessel using a ceramic heating element.

Round ceramic heating elements are made of grooved blocks (ceramic building blocks). Regardless of diameter, they are available in a minimum length of 50 mm. The grooved blocks are assembled into complete heating elements with the heat conductor placed in the grooves. The blocks with the biggest diameter can be assembled in lengths of up to 10 metres.

Flat ceramic heating elements

Used for heating the bottom and sides of tubs and the like. They are also suitable for building up small annealing and tempering furnaces or for being built into cartridges with tightening screws or clamps. Flat ceramic heating elements are built of heat-resistant conductors and ceramic parts that support the resistance conductor.

For both types, we custom-make the voltage, power and cold zone per order.
